Latte-da Coffee & Kitchen
About This Spot
Nestled on the charming Beaufort Street in the heart of Crickhowell, Latte-da Coffee & Kitchen unfolds like a gentle pause in your day. Stepping inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting hum—a blend of quiet conversations, the soft hiss of the coffee machine, and the natural light that filters through generously. The pace here is unhurried, encouraging you to settle in, whether you’ve just arrived or are lingering over one more cup.
This cozy café carries a subtle magic that wraps around you, not only through its carefully crafted coffees but through an intriguing blend of culinary delights and unique local touches. There’s a delightful ease in choosing your seat—be it inside where the walls hint at stories with their gentle decor, or outside in the garden space that breathes with the gentle rhythms of the street and welcomes four-legged friends with a wagging tail. Each visit feels like a quiet celebration of everyday moments, where tastes mingle with comforting company.
The menu speaks softly of thoughtful breakfasts and simple pleasures. Imagine savoring a cappuccino that’s both bold and mellow, alongside eggs prepared with a sense of care—whether it’s the richness of Eggs Benedict or the satisfying comfort of a bacon sandwich. There’s a home-baked quality to the cakes and slices, offering little bursts of sweetness that complement the warm atmosphere. And if you’re drawn to something cooler, creamy gelato and affogatos offer refreshing pauses that make the lingering even sweeter.
Beyond the food and drink, there’s a quietly enchanting aspect to Latte-da. Venture upstairs to find a metaphysical supply store, where crystals and curios add a layer of intrigue and calm, inviting a moment of reflection or discovery. This integration of tastes, textures, and small wonders turns a simple café visit into a layered experience that feels both grounding and a little extraordinary.
Latte-da isn’t just a spot to fuel up; it’s a corner of Crickhowell where familiar comforts meet subtle surprises, where the staff’s warmth and attentiveness are part of the welcoming rhythm, and where you might find yourself returning—not just for the food or coffee, but for the quiet sense of belonging it quietly offers.

Such a wonderful spot for breakfast! We stopped here on our way back to London after a relaxing weekend in Wales, and it was definitely worth it. The coffee was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff were absolutely superb. They have inside and outside seating and also dogs friendly. We had coffee late with oat milk, eggs royal, avocado toast and carrots cake, all fresh and tasty, sorry was so hungry that totally forgot to take picture of food :) remembered as we ate last bites of carrot cake!

We stopped by for lunch and it was such a lovely experience! The coffee and tea were excellent, the desserts looked irresistible, and everything we tried was truly delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. On the second floor, there’s a beautiful crystal shop that adds a magical touch to the place. Definitely worth visiting!

Perfect double shot espresso A new era for Latte Da, they've just moved location. Not far away, into the old Beaufort pub 2 doors down. The new location is larger and gives them a lot more room and a garden space, which will work well on lovely sunny days. I'm regularly here and always enjoy my visits. Dog friendly area. Staff are always brilliant.

Lovely cafe, £8 for regular cappuccino and a excellent slice of cake. The breakfasts I saw going out also looked great.

Me and my Fiancée came here for breakfast whilst in Crickhowell, beautiful and tasty breakfast. Coffee was delicious. In fact it was so good, we came back the next day. To the lovely owner, we loved it. Thank you, and thank you for tell us your story.
